Yes Virginia, there IS a Santa Clause!

and his name is TIMMAAYYYY!!! That's right, I'm bringin' new rooms to needy families with 1500 dogs in the basement who need to get them into their own little area to play! just got done wiping all the walls down to get rid of the sanding dust so I can paint them first thing in the manana. Well Halloween party #1 is over and went over quite well. I was a human woopie cushion and I had a remote controlled fart machine in my pocket and it seemed to be a hit. Candace had this big A$$ fro and looked AWESOME! Actually pretty hot I must add. Yeeeup, my baby mama is a HOTTIE!!! Tomorrow is full of all kinds of jobs. I started building the work bench in the garage and it seems to be going well.. I'll update maybe with some pics and stuff of the new room and the workbench.

Baby mama be in bed cause she is TIRED!!!

I is Lovin' her more and more each day...

West Staines Massive is the best!

Well, well, well...

I've just completed sanding the joint compound in the new room. Talk about a MESSY job! ugh... THAT takes a lot out of you. It was hard work and I sweat my butt off, but its gonna be worth it. Now I get to paint it and find all the flaws in the joint compound so I can sand some more and then paint again and then sand...and I'm hoping one day it'll end...

So what's going on for the weekend...

Parties
Buying building supplies for a fence
Running studs on the ceiling of the new room
Primering the new room
Sealing the floor of the new room
Putting a filter in the fridge so Candace can have better tasting ice and water
Cut the grass

and the list goes on and on and on....sigh...Saturday and Sunday are gonna kick my butt. Not to mention, I've gotta find time for a couple Halloween parties...

I'm going to work as a whoopie cushion. Only it's spelled woopie cushion, probably for trademark sakes.

So I'm out and watching The Haunted Mansion...

And as soon as I finished typing this I found a bug in On Demand. In 24 hours movies expire. EVEN WHEN YOU ARE WATCHING THEM! Yeeeup! I just got booted out of the movie while I was watching it cause it expired.

Let me tell you, that foam mattress thingie that we bought is pretty cool. I think... I'll let you know more in a couple days...

Gimme a D, gimme an O, gimme a double G...

What's that spell? In the basement sittin' with the doggs... My nights have become fairly uneventful ever since I started building this room and I have to protect it for its life. At least until the walls are finished and they can take a beating, so to speak.

So I sit and I sit and I babysit and I babysit while the doggoramas run around and play and eat and play some more and then....jump up on the couch and go to sleep...???

They are out of their houses and they just wanna take cat naps. I don't get it...

Maybe they are takin' after Baby Mama!!!

Anyway, time for beddie bye soon...

Hugs and good dreams to my Baby Mama who didn't even notice that all the metal was out of my face!

Poor baby mama...

I feel bad for Candace. I had to run out late last night because she was throwing up and I needed to get her ginger ale, a slurpee and a cup of ice. She has been getting up throughout the night and can't get a decent night's sleep. Poor girl. I feel so bad for her. I still don't think its sunk in yet that I'm gonna be a father. Can't wait for the first Dr. visit. Should be fun.

This is a loooonnnnggg wait. It seems like its been months and its only been like 2 weeks...ha ha...

T-Dad OUT and ready for lunch...

I laugh more than I cry, you P*D me off goodbye...

Ok, so I'm sitting down here in the basement and just finished sanding my horrible SPACKLE job on the new room. I guess it doesn't look that bad, but by no means does it look PROFESSIONAL! Know what I'm sayin'? At least not yet.. :)

I heard Ashlee Simpson through the floor cause baby mama is watching the radio city music awards and Ashlee just performed. I'm sure this isn't the correct spelling of her first name, but who cares? It could be spelled Milli Vanilli for all I care...

So I'm chillin' with the animals now down in the basement trying to program my new Mercedes of Remote Controls. Check out hometheatremaster.com for the most awesome all in one remotes you can find! Rockin' good time, let me tell ya! And I've almost got this whole thing programmed and I can't find a dang code for our new DVR cable box...hmmm...what to do, what to do...? I just drank 2 cups of coffee, so I'm drinking a couple beers so I can go to sleep! Can wants me to do yoga with her, but I really can't get into that kinda stuff. I mean come on, what would I look like if I were doing prenatal yoga and that got out. I'd be the laughing stock of laughing stocks. Actually I'd probably look like a really caring and giving husband...hmmmm...

But I DID make dinner and clean up the mess, so maybe I'll save yoga for another night. Then again, Lilly just came out of the litter box and I'm not feeling too much love in the "air" down here right now if you know what I mean...ugghhhh....ewwww.....

ok Casey, finish eating cause daddy has to get out of this smelly basement

YUCK!

T-Dad OUT and maybe doing yoga...

Hey boo boo!

Once upon a Time...

WOW...what an amazing feeling. Despite the uneasy feeling and the extreme exhaustion, this is such a beautiful experience. I am truely blessed to experience this miracle. To know that there is another person growing up in my belly is amazing. I can't wait to meet our little one.

I feel well, tired more than anything. Normal symptoms except major food aversions at the moment. A tad queasy and thinking about food is a big Bleck! I want tunafish, but alas, I cannot have because it is not good for the little one.

I am 5 weeks and 3 days... I am in my 6th week. It seems as thought time is standing still, but I am enjoying every moment. How fun is this...this how our baby is growing now...
"Your baby is now about the size of an apple seed. That's about 0.08 to 0.16 inches (2 to 4mm) from crown to rump. It has formed a distinct head with the first stages of eyes and ears. The spinal column and cord are formed. Buds that will grow limbs have also formed. The heart is starting to beat and at this stage its beating may even be detected by sensitive ultrasound equipment, though, it's still very early. The kidneys, liver and nerve cells have also begun to develop. Ten dental buds are growing in the jaws. Blood circulation has begun and primitive red blood cells circulate. The neural tube has closed over along your baby's spine. The optic vesicles, which resemble tiny discs of pigment set it cups along the sides of your baby's head will develop into your baby's eyes. A distinct tail is still present. The body is shaped like the letter "C"."

I tell our baby everyday how lucky they are to have such an adorable daddy. How cute are his little posts.

I will write more later :)

I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so...

So the baby wanted Filet Mignon and Chicken tonight at the Japanese restaurant. We went out to dinner with some friends and had a pretty good time til I thought I was gettin' ripped off on my Filet Mignon...ha ha.... You had to be there, but I ordered and the price I saw was $10 less cause for some reason I was ordering off of the lunch menu and it was dinner time. How crazy is that!? So anyway, when we got the bill I was all like, "can I see a menu" cause I didn't think we were being charged the correct amount. But Candace was right and I was wrong.

She's been having these wierd cravings. Like she'll want an Orange Julius for no apparent reason, or sweet potatoe french fries, wierd. But I do what I can and help her out as much as I can cause I love her and need her to be comfortable and happy.

244 days and counting...

Candace read Jennie McCarthy's baby book in about 1.5 hours. It's crazy how she can just buzz through a book at 90mph. Meanwhile, she gives me the book when she's done and I've already had it for 4 days and I'm not even 1/4 of the way through... But I AM reading 3 at the same time...

Jenny McCarthy's
A really cool fatherhood book Can bought me
Scar Tissue (Anthony Keidis' book)

and I just finished Don't Try This At Home by my boy Dave Navarro. Check out 6767.com.

So the room in the basement looks good so far. I just got done putting joint compound and tape on all the seams and covered the nail holes. That took more out of me than any other portion of building the entire room. I'm DEAD tired right now.

I'm looking forward to finishing up that room and then starting on the baby's room.. :) But I gotta paint the garage too! So much to do, so little time...

We are thinking yellow walls in the baby room because that color goes with anything. We are gonna go with a Disney Babies theme I think. That's all pretty much up to Can. We are slowly collecting various things to put in the baby's room. I can't wait...

244 days to go....

Stizzuff with the Rizzuff

Candace is SO tired. She comes home from work and sacks right out. Poor thing. They say that in the second trimester she will pick up speed as her body becomes adjusted to the huge hormone jump that has been going on within. I try to do all I can for her, but sometimes I feel that its not enough cause all she wants to do is drink water and sleep! I just tried to order one of those water coolers to rent for the next year, but the stupid website is messed up and won't let me get past the delivery address page. So if anyone knows where I can hook up a hot and cold water cooler for home rental, let me know.

Time for beddie bye...

It's Thursday....

Just another day in paradise. Or as they say in Mexico, "hey man, wanna buy a blanket or necklace?"

I dunno...

Anyway, I've finished building the doggie room in the basement, now our house is a 5 bedroom, ha ha. It's a pretty nice size too, 11x16. Time to spackle it, the worst part of the entire build process. I could get away with a couple crooked studs, but the spackle part has to be PERFECT or else the room ends up looking like crapola. Ugghhh...

So the baby is about as big as a piece of rice now and it has a heartbeat and the brain is forming. I don't think its really sunk in yet. I don't think it will until I hear the heartbeat next month or whenever that appt is, maybe December. I want to be the best father in the world. I'm thinking of taking a class or two or something. Not sure, but I've been reading a ton of stuff on the internet about parenting. Of course ANYONE can create a webpage and make you believe it, so I'm not sure what to believe and what not to. I think I'll take that class....

I think in ALL my years of living, the one piece of advice that I've gotten is that you don't treat a child like a dumb little kid that doesn't understand things. You treat them like little adults and don't talk down to them like they are idiots for doing something stupid or wrong. Ya know? Like have adult conversations with them when you talk with them and I think that develops their brain into thinking like an adult and makes them feel like they are little adults and makes them mature. Another thing is that my child will have responsibilities! I'm not talking taking out the trash, I'm talking working at Wal Mart at age 5. Wal Mart allows that, right? I've seen it! Ok, just kidding, I know I'm gonna spoil the crap out of this child and can't wait.

Back to the blankets and necklaces...

Much more love to my baby mama!

What kind of father will I be???

Hmmm... So I've been thinking. Will it be a girl? Will it be a boy? I think I HONESTLY don't have a preference (boy) I just want a healthy little baby (boy) that I can hold, love, protect and care for. Reality hasn't hit me yet and I'm not sure when its gonna sink in. Probably not until I'm passed out on the floor of the delivery room. :) Ok, so I'd prefer a little boy. But that's only because I will be able to live my childhood all over again through HIM! I think it would be cool to have a little boy to be able to play RC cars with and fly planes and wrestle with and stuff. But if God wants us to have a little girl, who am I to argue? The next 8 months better go by quick. It seems like a lifetime... heh heh... now that I think about it, 8 months will be a lifetime for our little baby because thats how long it will take before I meet him or her...

We have so many friends that are having babies too, it just all seems like the right time. Pat&Kelly, Jon&Sharon, Dal&Suzanne,Dave&Theresa. I thought things happened in 3's!??!?!? Maybe there is one more couple that hasn't announced it yet and then that will make it 2 pairs of 3's... ...or maybe we are having TWINS!!!!!!

It's wild because everyone will be having their baby(s) within a couple months of each other. We should start a club!!! Anyway, I'll write more later, I'm off to work.

Much love to my baby mama!

Hello Hello!

Tim and I are gonna be parents! YUP, you heard correctly...we are gonna have a rocker baby of our very own.
Well, here is the beginning of a very long, beautiful journey. I will keep you posted with all of the new details of our little bean to be.
Last week, I suspected that I was preggers. I was doing this temp. chart on fertilityfriend.com (Thanks to Sharon for the idea) just to get an idea of what was going on with me...not thinking we would be this lucky the first month we even tried...I asked the other ladies on a message board what they thought of my chart. I got so many responses from them to get a HPT (home pregnancy test) right away casue my chart was looking stellar...I had Tim read it and he was convinced that I should too. So I got one HPT...a faint pink line showed up. I called my cousin Erin to ask what she though...she said, "Can, a line is a line, you are pregnant girl" ....Even so, I didn't believe it...so I took another, and another...after 6 positive HPTs I called the Dr. and went for a blood test. The next day it came back positive. I had to get another test to make sure my numbers were going up. I find out in bit about that. And took another HPT...so that makes that 7 HPTS and 2 blood tests. heehee
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers...this is both and exciting and frightening time!
We are both elated beyond belief!
Stay tuned!
