Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. Ty battled this virus all week, and he was quite the little trooper. Here is a little pict show for you!

Please say a prayer...

Our sweet Tyler spent the evening in the ER last night. He has had a fever of 105 and it has been tough to keep down. He has a virus, so antibiotics will not help him...It has to run its course...it is so heartbreaking. He is such a little trooper. He had to have an IV put in to draw blood, X-rays...and so on...They were amazed at his temperment with such a high fever. Please pray that the fever breaks soon and he can get back to playing outside.
Thank you...
Love,
Ty's Mommy and Daddy

Tyler - 22 months already!

Can you believe how fast Tyler is growing up! I cannot keep up at all! we all have been sick for a while now...its gotten us good, but we had our first day out today. We went to music class with Ty's friends and then to the park. I am so happy that the weather is warming up again. beautiful 70 degrees!
Ty is talking so much more lately, and he sings songs so well, he picks them up pretty fast. It is the most beautiful sound in the world...my baby's voice. Sigh...
My baby is becoming a little boy....

Life is SO good....

Tyler just amazes us every single day. From blaming daddy for having the stinky diaper to knowing every single thing we are saying and having an opinion on stuff, it's just amazing. I'll be like "Ty do you like this?" and he'll say "no" or "yes" and its just SO cool. Like Can said he is singing every single song he hears. He knows the words to all the songs. The other day we were in the car and we heard him singing his lullabye in the backseat without any help. It was so cool. He even sings songs in Spanish. He says elephant and giraffe and so many other words its hard to keep up these days. He says complete sentences and is just the smartest little guy. He wants to be just like daddy. He rides his tricycle around the kitchen so fast and lifts the front wheel off the ground cause he watches Motocross with daddy and thats what they do. He knows how to pedal his tricycle and is just SO fast on his blue razor scooter. The other day we were wrestling (he's SUCH a boy) and he stepped on daddy's plastic cup and I said go put this on the counter and come back and we'll finish wrestling. He ran RIGHT over with the cup, put it on the counter and came back to wrestle. It was so cool. I was doing something else another day and said here give this menu to mommy and I'll be right over. He took it and went over to Can and handed it to her and I just thought that was the coolest thing. He likes to work on daddy's bike with him. I just bought a gas powered power washer for my bike and the deck and house and he was outside with me spraying the house and washing the cars. Very cool....
Ok, I'm babbling....

Go-Go-Go-Go...
Here is a pict of Tyler with his hip hop frog that he got for his first birthday. It sings 50 Cents song 'In da club'...It he beginning he sings right along with 'go, go, go, ... go shorty its your birthday...and so on" , When its over he says "Again, peass" Awwww..how can I resist. So polite. Then he brings out his various music instruments...currently its the bongo drum and he plays along...but he used the guitar this morning, and his little keyboard. he has been rocking our all day. Just precious!
We are stuck inside again today as Ty and I don't feel so well...I unfortunately lost my voice...BIG FUN..."
Here is a picture of the family in Epcot that our friends Denise and Kevin took. They will be a part of the trip report when I finish it. they live very close to Disney...lucky ducks ;) They are amazing people and it was so good to spend some time with them.

Wow, French Toast!
Nothing makes a Mommy feel better than when your child loves your cookin! I asked Ty this morning if he would like Mommy to make him some french toast. He says, "yes" Then runs to the kitchen saying "Ahhhhh, french toast, french toast"...whenever I would give it to him in the past, we use the high chair...he ran right over to it and tried to climb into it. Sooo cute! So when it was ready, I set him all up and he says.."What's that, french toast, WOW...cool"...Lets just say...MADE MY DAY!
He is growing so very fast, I can't stand it! haha, He has started using words together...sentences, and singing more words in songs. He is even using some spanish, which amazes me! When you teach him something once and he seems to get it. I guess now is the time when the little ones are sponges and absorb everything. He counts everything...to 10 (sometimes 12), when he plays his drums he does (1,2,3,4, 1,2, 3,4) to the beat...he plays songs to the beat too...his faves are jingle bells (with an accent cymbal hit on HEY) and The Monkey Dance.
Sigh...so very fast...21 months old already...DO you all remember when I was pregnant for what seemed like 3 years! haha
Happy Birthday a day early to Uncle Jordo!
I am still working on our trip report...so much to take it and remember! SUCH a good time! We cannot wait to go back!
I will leave you with a cute picture!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
This is a picture of a picture that we got from the luau at the Poly. Little family portrait action for ya!Happy St. Patrick's Day! You all know how much I love this day! I made little shamrock cupcakes...so cute!

We had a fantastic time in Disney...I am gonna post a bunch of pictures and stories! There is so much, I don't know where to start!!!

Ty is growing so fast and learning so much. He is saying sentences and really telling us what he wants and needs. He is such a little sweetheart. The other day he was watching the Wiggles...there was a slow song playing, lullabye of some sort and he came over to me and said 'dance' and took my hands and started rocking back and forth to the music. It was the sweetest moment. My little love!
And I want to say Happy Anniversary to my Timmy! 10 years! I love you!!!

"Awwwww Baby"

Awwww Baby...there is nothing better than lovin from TyTy... When he gives you a hug he says..."Awwww Baby" .... We melt.... He is talking more and more. Everyday is a brand new exciting day filled with new words and cool Ty tricks. haha
He LOVES watching motocross with his Daddy. He rides his little razor bike all around Today I asked him to jump...and he did riding his bike. It was HILARIOUS!
Ty started his first music class (we go on Fridays)...His teacher brings out a lot of music instruments...Well, Ty went over and put together a mini drumset with little drumheads...he had 3 lined up. He played along to the songs. It was so funny and adorable. They sang 'Jingle Bells' and he sang almost every word! He LOVES to sing too...they are real thoughtful songs with LOTS of feeling. He will sing while he plays his piano, guitar, and his drums. He made up a "Momma, Dadda" song today...it was funny. It went like this "Momma, Dada, Momma, Dada, Momma, Daaaada". It was our favorite song...Such a little entertainer. He loves doing the motions for songs, esp. the 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' and 'Rock-a-bye your Bear' they are his favorites.
Tyler has started to have conversations with us...sometime they are in his special language, but lately, he is really making sense and it seems like he really understands. They other day, Tim was getting ready for work, and I was taking Ty downstairs...It went something like this...
Ty says "Bye Da-da" Daddy says "Bye TyTy" Ty says (sounds like) "Where you goin" (with his arms wide with question) Daddy says "I am getting ready for work, I will be down in a little while" Ty says "Oh" Totally understanding. Tim and I just look at each other in amazement as we watch him grow up.
Ty is putting words together, asks for juice, pretzels, snacks...etc...He will say "More juice" and "thank you"..."Pzzz" (please), "Sorry", He says "yellow" really well...He sings along to his ABCs and he counts to 10. He LOVES to count everything.
He really loves to play with his friends now. His buddy Gus just turned 2-Happy Birthday! The other day we were leaving the library and his friend Conner said "See Ya Ty" (he is just a few days older than Ty) Anyway, it was sooo cute!
Ty had a BLAST in the snow today...he didn't want to come in. He ran all around, threw snowballs...with a devilish..."ha-haaa" after he would throw it...Picts coming soon!
We hope everyone is well, safe and warm!!!

S.L.E.E.P.
is something we aren't getting the last couple nights. Poor Ty has a sore throat and has (at least) 4 teeth coming in. Can took him to the Dr. yesterday and they said we just have to ride it out, he doesn't have any infections or anything, which is good. So he woke up this morning at 2am. We put him back down at 3. He then woke up again at 4 and we were up for the rest of the night (or day). After he woke up from his nap this morning, he is running around and its business as usual.
...too bad it isn't business as usual for daddy and mommy. We are TIRED!

M-I-C-K-E-Y
Hello Hello! Ty is almost 20 months old! We had a rough couple of weeks, poor little guy had a vicous cold and he has 4 or more teeth coming in at one time. He has handled it so well. Poor little guy.
It is AMAZING the amount learning that is going on. He picks up things so fast. Mommy and Daddy gotta watch what they say...haha He is trying to tackle the big words now...and it is so funny. He says 'Dinosaur' pretty well. He knows all of his Disney characters...Mick, Min, Tutoe (Pluto), Goo (Goofy), saisee (Daisy) anold (Donald), and WHY you ask? haha we are getting ready to take him to on his first trip to Disneyworld!!! We cannot wait! We are counting down the days. Ty's mom and dad are celebrating their 10 year anniversary!

He loves to sit at the table to eat now. He does not want the booster or highchair, he likes sitting like a big boy. IT is so funny, when I give him a snack I will say, "Please go sit at the table and Mommy will get some for you.." He goes right over and climbs up on the chair and waits patiently. It is precious. I also noticed that he is still using his sign language along with the words. When he wants more, he signs it and says 'mor peez' It is precious.

He loves practicing the ABCs and counting...He can point to certain letters and he counts to five with a 6 and 7 thrown in sometimes. Everything is red, which is funny, because everything used to be boo (blue). He LOVES to color. This is such a fun time. I wish I could bottle it all up and save it. Sigh...
I better get some rest (Mommy is sick now too) ... more later...
Love,
C

All kinds of firsts
Tyler has been growing SO fast lately. It seems that each day he learns 20 new things and surprises us. Last night Candace said "Tyler Christopher..." and he replied "Minx". It surprised Candace and she proceeded to call everyone we know so they could hear him say it. It was so cute. He also pottied on the toilet for the first time a couple days ago. The next day he was watching motocross on tv with daddy and he immediately ran over to his little bike and tried to make it jump by lifting the front wheel up in the air. He drives his razor scooter around the kitchen so fast and steers so well its scary. Can't wait to see how he does outside. He can repeat pretty much any word we tell him and he totally knows what everything is now so he gets less frustrated communicating with us and telling us what he wants.
Ty's growing up so fast. ...sigh.

Happy 2007!!!

Ahhh, my sweet little Tyler...WOW! Another year has come and gone. Unbelievable. It seems like just yesterday I was waiting and counting the minutes till I could meet my new little one...Now he is almost 19 months old. Christmas was absolutely fantastic. Tyler was so adorable. So innocent and happy. So filled with joy and excitement. IT is true that you can live Christmas over again through their eyes. I see everything so much better, with so much more appreciation. Ty has taught me so much.
He is growing so fast, talking so much more. He counts, and they might be jumbled, haha, but it is so darn cute. His favorite numbers are 3, 6 and 7...so cute. And everything is 'blue' but he does say red, green and purple pretty clearly. The other day I was watching a show, probably a hallmark commercial...haha and I started getting teary...Ty came us to me and said "Whats a Maddah(matter)" It was so precious. I just scooped him up. He makes me so happy.
Tim has been so busy, he is building a playroom in the basement for Ty. He has been working so hard, but it is coming along and looking fantastic!!! I cannot wait!
So, here we are at 2007, so many wonderful things are in store and I am looking forward to every second. I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year!!!

Merry Day After Christmas!!!
Wow. Yesterday was incredible. Bringing Tyler down the stairs to see the pile of presents Santa left him was awesome. He looked over at the tree and saw his battery powered Go Kart and ran right over, got in and started driving it around the house. Santa was very good to Tyler, he brought him a video game to learn with on the tv, a go kart, a bubble mower, a book that helps you learn to read, and his grandmama and poppi got him a 5 piece drum kit. He LOVES it and makes the cutest face when he hits the drums with the sticks. The little guy actually has really good timing. He got a ton of other stuff too, and I'll let Candace list all the rest (along with a pict), I just wanted to get on here and mention the great time we had and how generous everyone was to our little guy.
Tyler is talking so clear now and says so many new words. He knows yes and no, he asks for juice and most foods by name, he knows car, bike, motorcycle, lawnmower, Pablo, Elmo, drum, and all the others we've mentioned in the past. Talking to him now is actually like talking to a little guy and no longer like talking to a baby who doesn't comprehend what you are saying. Tonight he brought over his boot and said "boot". I said "do you want daddy to put it on your foot?" He said "yes". I said "well go over and get your other boot and daddy will put them on for you.' He went right over and grabbed the other one and brought it to me. I said "hop up on the couch and daddy will put them on you". Dang if he didn't climb up on the couch and hold his foot out. It was soooo cool....
Tyler gave me a St. Christopher (his middle name) medal to wear around my neck when I go riding on my motorcycle. It says, "To My Daddy. Be safe. I love you. Love Tyler".
I love it.
Daddy T signing off...
Ho Ho Hoooooo....

Its almost Christmas!!!

So!!! December is flying by and Christmas is less than a week away! What a MONTH! Ty is growing so fast before our very eyes. I want to bottle this time up so I can save it forever. His cuddles with his little head on my chest, his hugs and how he blows kisses, his little jibber jabber, his impersonations...the Donald Duck voice, the mickey mouse voice, Santa's HO Ho Hoooo, how he gets so excited when he sees Christmas lights. Tim and I like to drive around and show him and out car is filled with squeals, "WOWs" and "Cooool!" We have been working on "Time-Out" which I tried a few months ago...some of you might remember, it was FILLED with Ty's laughter. He didn't get the whole "punishment" thing. So we are trying again. He listens most of the time, but his toddler curousity is getting the best of him. Hence the re-decorating of out Christmas tree...as all of the ornaments are making their way to the top section. He LOVES to climb now, even more than before...as he gets to the top, he says "Get down" (almost in a disco jive sort of way) but really he is echoing the words that we keep telling him. So yesterday I did the whole "count to three" bit...I said "0ne, two..." Tyler goes "freeee!!!" Yeah, needless to say, biting my lip once again as he is the funniest little guy in the world.
At his 18 month check up...
Ty is 34 inches (75-90th percentile) and 29 lbs, 7 oz (90th percentile)
I love my little gent so much. Sorry we have not been up on pictures and video...times are BUSY BUSY BUSY...as I am sure everyone can relate.
In case I don't get back here before next week...Have a beautiful holiday and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Congratulations to my cousin Stacey and Troy as them welcome our newest sweet cousin Owen Christopher yesterday!!! We cannot wait to meet him!!!
Love,
Candace

Happy December!!!

We have been so busy! Tyler and I have been Christmas shopping like crazy...he is such a trooper. We went to a Christmas Bazaar today...Santa was there. Ty was so shy, he was not to fond of the real deal. haha He LOVES Santa...just not up close and personal. haha
Ty has started to really pick up words. Since this is his blog, Daddy and I are thinking of all his new words...hmmm, lets see...Santa, Ho Ho Ho, Ru (for Rudolph), fren fry (thats a new one today, we were out to lunch with his grandma and Auntie...and he wanted something, and he was signing more and pointing. I was trying to guess, and he finally goes 'fren fry'. It was so clear...such a funny little guy..., apple, bops (for Doodlebops), Moe, DeeDee, Mickey, Casey (our dogs), he calls
me MaMa now...and it is the sweetest sound. He still loves to look at his Daddy's 'coolcool' for Motorcycle, Car, Moon, tree (tee), Juice, ka-ker (cracker), WOW (but like Woooow!!!), Pluto, Donald Duck, Ball, Chicken, Boat, Choo Choo, Book, Doggy, Kitty, Go, Poppy, Auntie, lovey, ahhahhh (for gentle), teeth, ...He is singing along to songs...It is wild to watch him pick up things so fast. He LOVES his books. He will sit there for the longest time, and just look through the pages, he will speak is baby language, and throw in a word or two...like his book that has apples in it, he will act like he is reading and just throw the word apple into the mix.
Ty is LOVING his new buddies, Gus, Conner, Joshua, Leeza...We are getting ready for our big Christmas party!
I am really enjoying being Tyler's Mom. I am so blessed and lucky...honored really, to be able to wake up each day and share my life with him. His little soul is wrapped so tightly around my heart, I can't imagine what life was like without him.
May you all enjoy the holiday season...can you believe it is December already!!!
Love,
Candace

Whoa!!!
Is it me or is time FLYING!!! Thanksgiving is over ALREADY!!!
Halloween was great. We spent it will Ty's cousins Ellie and Adam. We had a little Halloween Party with his Mom-Mom, Poppy, Auntie and Aunt Erin. We had a great time.
Ty has met some great new friends Gus, Joshua, Conner and Leeza. We have playdates every Tuesday and meet them every Thursday for the story/music time. His friends have some pretty awesome Moms too. We always have such a great time.
Tyler amazes us everyday. It is hard to imagine him this little teeny tiny baby. He has this adorable little personality and just cracks us up. He LOVES music. Last night, Ty and I played on his music instruments for close to an hour. He LOVES his guitar (gi-gar), and drums (duh). His favorite words lately have been CAR- which sounds like he has a Boston accent with CAH, Boat, Choo, Choo, and motorcycle (cool or coolcool). tim took him to the motorcycle store yesterday and he said it was so cute. He was saying coolcool over and over and got so excited. He listens sooo well to NO now. He does not laugh at me much when I tell him NO now. I must admit, I was scared. I thought the supernanny was coming. haha He listens so well. I know it may not last, but I am thrilled now! He does not like to hear NO though and gets this stern little look on his face, but most of the time he will stop. He LOVES to play Hide and Seek. He is getting crafty with his new hiding spots now. He will stay there till you find him. He used to hide in the same two spots, but now he is under tables, in his tent, behind the couch. He loves to do motions to songs. He can do the whole 'Itsy, Bitsy, Spider" and we are working on "Head Shoulders, Knees Toes" "Quack, Wuack, Quack"...he loves singing along too. Sooo cute! He loves to read which makes Mommy very happy. We read all the time and when I am finihed he will read it to me. The Ty chatter is so much more interesting. ;)
So now we are getting ready for Santa. WOW! Turkey Day is officially over (When we ask Ty what a Turkey says, he says 'gockle') and Santa, he gives a big Ho, HO, Hoooo...love it. Anyway, I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Be safe!!!
Love,
C

It's hard to believe that Tyler is almost 17 months. He is going to be Pablo from the Backyardigans for Halloween and he is SO adorable in his little costume. He is talking up a storm and is so smart. When we tell him lets go bye byes, he runs and gets his shoes so we can put them on him and goes and stands by the door and says "go, go". He gets mad if we don't go immediately, so we have to be careful not to get his hopes up too soon before we are ready to leave. ha ha. He is talking jibberish like you wouldn't believe. He even throws in words he knows into the jibberish. He'll be like blah blah blah blah GO blah blah blah YES blah blah. It's really cute. He uses his hands while he is talking and expresses himself with them the whole time. He knows when we say get Woody and Buzz or get Pablo or get Eunequa, he'll run over and grab those stuffed toys and bring them over. He also knows the difference between a blue ball and a green ball and is learning so fast.
I keep saying it over and over, but I can't imagine my life before him. He is a blessing and I am so proud and happy to have him in our lives.
